“Clarity is not the result of thinking, it is the result of the space we create”
The War Inside Your Mind
Have you ever felt like your own mind is working against you?
One part of you is fired up, ready to leap towards your career, your best life, the version of you that you know is possible.
And then another voice creeps in.
It starts asking questions. Planting doubt.
Whispering all the reasons why that brilliant idea of yours might not work.
And the juggling begins, as
- Overthinking. Confusion.
- Fog that turns even the simplest decision into a dead end.
So what do you do?
You try to escape that mental bombardment.
You put on a movie to watch.
You grab something to eat.
And for a little while it works.
There’s relief.
But sooner or later, all unresolved issues bounce back – left, right, center, much louder than before.
Both Voices Are Trying to Help You
One is pushing you towards growth, possibility, and towards your best version.
The other is trying to protect you – from the unknown, from risk, from getting hurt.
If you can relate to any of this, you are not alone.
I have been there too.
My Own Journey Through the Noise
For years, I worked on myself. I practiced and developed a deep awareness of my own thought patterns – noticing – what I am thinking now, when I’m thinking it, and where it’s coming from.
It helped me see habitual loops my mind had been running for years.
But awareness alone wasn’t enough.
I didn’t just want to notice my thoughts. I wanted to witness them – fully, cleanly – without drama, without labels, without getting sucked in.
While working with my coach, I was introduced to something that changed everything.
SPACE
What Is This Space, Exactly?
Imagine you’ve been sitting at your desk for hours. You feel your mind is closed, the code is stuck, and you need a breather. Then you step out to take a break.
You’re still in your head trying to figure out many things at once, you begin to walk and suddenly you notice the birds chirping. Then your attention goes to the vast blue sky.
You take a pause for a few seconds.
You feel a sense of relief and expansion in your body.
What happens in that moment?
For me, it’s a subtle and amazing feeling – like something inside me quietly opens.
My body softens. My breath slows.
I feel deeply connected to myself.
That is the SPACE I’m talking about.
This gets created when you switch yourself from mind to body.
You fully feel your body, even your own breath.
One of my coaching clients once asked me:
“Kapil, how do I create that kind of space in my life – and how can it help me stop overthinking?”
My honest answer: I can’t fully explain in words.
You got to feel it.
And the beautiful truth is – you’ve already felt this many times in your life.
You’ve Already Touched This Space Before
When?
- When you picked a paintbrush and let your hand move without a plan.
- When you turned up the music and danced because you wanted to.
- When you walked barefoot on green grass, for no reason.
- When you paused to really look at a flower, its unique color and beauty.
- When you sat down with nothing to do, even for a few minutes.
In those moments, something shifts.
The noise softens. And in that softness, you become aware of things you’d been too busy to notice – the subtle sensations in your body, the rhythm of your heartbeat.
The sound of birds from the distance. Silence after every note. The silence between one breath and the next.
The Moment Overthinking Loses Its Power
In that silence, thoughts still come but they move differently.
Even a difficult thought, a worrying thought, a thought you’ve been carrying for weeks – in that space, it doesn’t grip you the same way.
They arrive, and they leave.
You are not in it. You are just observing it.
That capacity to witness without being consumed.
It’s not a technique you have to learn.
It’s not something you have to earn.
It’s already inside you, waiting to be remembered.
When you stop labeling every thought as good or bad, urgent or threatening – when you observe, with gentle curiosity – overthinking loses its power.
The noise quietens.
And in that silence, clarity begins to rise.
Not from thinking harder.
But with gentle, loving space.
Key Takeaways
If you want to create that space for you, follow this for next 7 days and share with me your feedback.
Write your thinking mind on paper – empty your mind.
Practice avoid labels, avoid asking questions, avoid seeking clarity.
Just be with it.
Do this for a minimum of 5 minutes every day.
Choose a time in a day. My preference is my morning time.
Once you feel relaxed,
Go to the open space – be available for yourself without any agenda in mind.
Just observe. Flower. Trees. Wind. Smell. Sound.
No labeling, just sense it.
No speaking inside your head.
This is the SPACE most people crave in their life.
Start creating it.
For a whole new way of living – free from an overthinking mind.
A mind that can help you decide faster, efficiently and now you have regained the power to see things more clearly with clarity.
With love,
